WHO WE ARE

Welcome to our page, we are so happy to have you! We are Lauryn and Shannon, a best friend duo turned wedding coordinators!Thistle Event Co. was born in 2022 out of a passion for planning and hosting events. Since our inception, we’ve committed ourselves to creating impactful and creative experiences for our clients and their guests, no matter the size of the event.

 

Our team strives to meet and exceed the needs of everyone involved. This is because we understand the importance of working with (not just for) our clients in order to make their events unforgettable, forging memories that last long after the last guest leaves.

Relax the month of your wedding and let us take over!

  • Communication beginning 6 weeks from the wedding date and meetings beginning 4weeks/ 30 days from wedding date

  • Vendor communication beginning 30 days from wedding date

  • Floor plan creation

  • ​Custom created timeline

  • Rehearsal management and coordination

  • Wedding day-of coordination

  • Set up on wedding day personal decor items and certain rented items on rehearsal and wedding day

Day-of coordination $1000

For those who just need the extra help on the day of!

  • Communication beginning 4 weeks from wedding day and meetings beginning 3 weeks from wedding date

  • Vendor communication takeover 5-7 days from wedding date

  • Custom wedding timeline

  • Rehearsal management and coordination

  • Wedding Day-Of Coordination

  • Set up of personal decor items and certain rentals on wedding day only

Helpful Information

DO WE TRAVEL?

Yes we do!We serve all of California, Washington, Arizona and Nevada but are 100% Open to travel!

WHERE ARE YOU LOCATED?

We are located in Oakdale, CA!

HOW OFTEN WILL WE MEET WITH EITHER PACKAGE?

For month-of we start meeting 4 weeks or 30 days, once a week prior to the wedding day! For day-off, we start meeting 3 weeks, once a week prior to the wedding day!

HOW CAN I CONTACT YOU OR RECEIVE A QUOTE?

We are happy to be considered! Feel free to email, text us or by filling out the contact form on our website! There is also an inquiry link in our instagram bio if you want to check us our there!

DO YOU OFFER PLANNING SERVICES?

Unfortunately, we no longer offer planning services and are focusing on coordination for 2025 and 2026!

HOW LONG DO WE HAVE YOU ON OUR WEDDING DAY?

Clients have us for a maximum of 12 hours on their wedding day! These 12 hours only apply to the wedding day and begin as soon as the coordinators arrive at the venue! We do not offer overtime. 

HOW CAN I VIEW YOUR POLICIES?

Clients interested in booking with us must first participate in a virtual meeting and after will receive their contract and invoice form which detail all our policies and transparent pricing! 

WHAT FORMS OF PAYMENT DO YOU ACCEPT/HOW DO I PAY YOU?

We accept payment through our booking service, Honeybook! We do accept cash for clients whom are local to Oakdale, CA and offer those local clients an additional $50 discount for cash payments!
